OpenScroll

Why OpenScroll

Most social media asks one question: what keeps you scrolling?

OpenScroll asks a different one: what strengthens your faith, and the community around it?

We built OpenScroll because too many people log off feeling worse than when they logged on — drained by outrage, comparison, and noise. Scripture calls believers to encourage one another and build each other up, and we think the tools we use every day should reflect that calling, not work against it.

Here's what that looks like in practice:

A home for the whole body of Christ. OpenScroll welcomes believers from every denomination and tradition, along with anyone sincerely exploring the Christian faith. We don't take sides in denominational debates — we just ask that disagreement stay civil and Scripture stay central.

Prayer, not just likes. Send Prayer lets you respond to someone's need the way Christians have for two thousand years — not with a thumbs-up, but with intercession.

Scripture in context, always. Every Bible reference in a post becomes something you can actually read — in the translation you prefer, with the surrounding verses right there.

Discussion, not just reaction. Threaded replies and a feed that rewards genuine engagement over rage bait.

We're still building. If you have ideas for how OpenScroll can better serve the church online, we'd love to hear them.
